Most verification submissions are reviewed within 24β48 hours. If you submitted on a Friday afternoon, expect a response by end of day Monday. If it's been more than 48 business hours since you submitted, contact us with "Verification β [Your Business Name]" in the subject line and we'll prioritize your review.
This is usually a login issue or a plan activation step that didn't complete. Email support@businesscertified.org with the subject "Billing Issue β [Your Email]" and include the last 4 digits of the card that was charged. We'll resolve it within one business day and pro-rate any days you missed access.
Email support@businesscertified.org with the subject "Cancel β [Your Business Name]" and we'll take care of it immediately β no hold times, no friction. Your paid features stay active through the end of your current billing period, then your listing closes. No cancellation fees, ever.
We sometimes create placeholder listings for businesses based on public data. If you're the owner, you can claim it through the "Claim This Listing" button on the profile β this transfers ownership to you and lets you edit the content. If you'd prefer the listing be removed entirely, contact us with your business name and we'll take it down within 2 business days.
We take review integrity seriously β in both directions. We investigate reviews reported as fake and we remove them if they violate our review policy (e.g., posted by a competitor, spam, not a real customer). We do not remove reviews simply because they're negative. To request a review investigation, email support with "Review Report β [Your Business Name]" in the subject line and explain why you believe it violates our policy.
